Nijmegen itself as a city for students is very supportive for my learning environment. All that I need is available here from place to study until place to have fun; once in a while I need to have fun of course. I have been travelling to many cities in the Netherlands, my conclusion after comparing those cities is “Altijd Nijmegen”, that is the motto of Nijmegen which means forever Nijmegen. Generally here is well-ordered, people are open and friendly, and majority of them speak English especially the students. I met many students from around the world, and Dutch students of course, we shared many stories and experiences.
I am lucky to get a chance to continue to a PhD level in Clinical Neuroscience with topic on Alzheimer Disease at the University Clinic Bonn. My future goal is to work as a clinical researcher by combining my Medical Doctor and PhD degree. So many opportunities that I received since I came here, that I think I won’t get it if I am elsewhere; chances that bring me closer to my future.
